Hi, I’m Hershey.
I’m a web designer and developer based in Edmonton, AB, and I build websites that look good, are easy to use, and get found on Google.
My story
I grew up in the Philippines and studied tourism, which led me to a job with Qatar Airways. I traveled the world and met people from all walks of life. After moving to Canada, I got curious about how the websites I used every day are made, and that led me to IT and web design. I graduated from NAIT’s Web Design and Development program with a 4.0 GPA.
What I do now
I work as a Web Developer and SEO specialist, where I redesign and maintain websites for small and mid-size businesses across a range of industries. My work spans construction, welding, outdoor living, psychology practices, dog training, vinyl and print, investing and lending, and e-commerce. Every industry speaks to a different audience, so I tailor each site’s design, structure, and SEO to how that business’s customers actually search and decide. I also volunteer as a Web Content Coordinator with a local non-profit organization here in Edmonton, keeping their website accurate, accessible, and easy to use.
How I work
A good website should be both seen and remembered. I start by understanding your business and your visitors, design something clear and friendly, and build it to be fast and search-ready. I keep communication simple, so you always know what’s happening with your project.

Outside of work
I’m happiest outdoors, whether I’m running, hiking, snowboarding, or riding my mountain bike. Indoors, I design digital art for my Etsy shop, play the keyboard and violin when I can, and watch Star Wars series and random anime. Lately, it’s been MF Ghost.
